Seeking F/T and P/T Therapists @ Accelerated Recovery Centers

Positions: F/T Therapist (1) 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Noon to 9:00 pm on Thursdays. P/T Therapist (1) 9:00 am to 4:30 pm PRN alternating weekends.

Description: This is an intermediate to advanced skill-level position that involves approximately 75% client care & case management and approximately 25% office administration. The Therapist position entails professional attention to the sobriety acclimation and achievement of life optimization for Accelerated clients. It is expected that the Therapist will work with clients in a therapeutic relationship from the initial phase of treatment through the discharge. The purpose of the Therapist is to facilitate the recovery process for the client. Utilization of advanced therapy skills, techniques, and case management duties with the appropriate documentation within the client chart is required. Additional client care activities are variant and on as needed basis, and consistent with the Therapist’s professional competency.

The office administration portion entails duties such as administrative support (i.e., professional communications, scheduling, etc.).

The Therapist will always adhere to all ethical codes & guidelines as identified by licensed, professional codes.

The F/T therapist should have a strong background dealing with trauma and alcohol abuse.
The P/T therapist should have a strong background dealing with marriage and family issues

Seeking Community Based Individual Therapist @ Positive Growth, Inc.

Provide therapeutic services for 25 to 30 Medicaid and/or Medicare consumers. Meets with individuals, families, and groups in office, home, schools, and community settings throughout the metro Atlanta area to develop client centered service plans; provides direction for client mental health and community activities; assists clients with understanding their problems and developing plans to resolve them; provides a variety of Mental Health counseling and therapy for clients and their families; works with clients’ families to secure their cooperation in treatment programs; cooperates with professionals from other disciplines in the development of team and collaborative diagnoses and treatment programs; develops recommendations for discharge and follow-up treatment planning for clients and their families; performs crisis intervention; attend assigned team meetings and case conferencing. Work with Clinical Director to coordinate, plan and facilitate groups via I.E.C.

Seeking Primary Contract Assessor & Part-Time Contract Assessor @ Positive Growth, Inc.

Job Description: Our CORE agency is looking for contract therapists available to complete assessments and reassessments. Most clients are seen in the community. The consumer population will be both child/adolescent and adults. Primary assessors will be expected to complete at least 4-6 assessments per week. Part-time assessors will be expected to complete at least 2-3 assessments per week.

Requirements: Must have at least associate level licensure in the state of Georgia including LAPC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW as well as meet other standards required by the state of Ga. Must have at least 2 years experience completing Bio-Psycho-socials as well as knowledge of BIRP notes and SMART format of treatment goals. Must have a flexible schedule including availability afternoon hours and weekends. Must have exceptional organization skills such as keeping track of one’s own schedule as well as completing paperwork by assigned deadline. Must be able to attend monthly staff meeting held the last Tuesday of each month during evening hours.
